2. Our Flight
• We chose to combine our flight and hotel.
We are going to San Jose, Costa Rica

3. Our Hotel
• Our hotel is the Casa Conde Hotel and
Suites. We are staying in a room with two
double beds. Our hotel is close to the Gold
Museum, National Museum and the
National Theater. Our room overlooks the
city and mountains. The room also
includes complimentary toiletries, a hair
dryer, and a makeup/shaving mirror. We
also get wired and wireless Internet
access (surcharge), and we get premium
4. Gold Museum
• Our first place we will visit is the local Gold
Museum. It is a subterranean museum
under the Plaza de la Cultura in central
San Jose. It has an amazing collection of
gold jewelry created by Costa Rica's
original inhabitants.
5. National Museum of Costa Rica
• The museum has pre-Columbian artifacts
and cannons from the colonial period. The
museum is organized thematically in a
counter clockwise direction from the
entrance with artifacts related to Costa
Rica's geological, colonial, archaeological,
religious and modern history. The museum
had a notable collection of pre-Columbian
stone tables and ceramics.
6. The Butterfly Farm
• Visitors receive a guided tour that lasts
approximately 2 hours. Tours are offered
four times daily at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1
p.m. and 3 p.m. Accompanied by an
experienced guide, the tour proceeds
through The Butterfly Garden. It is an
enclosed tropical garden where perhaps
over a thousand butterflies are flying,
feeding, mating, and laying eggs.
