DP Zofri Power 5,2 MW,
Type/Units Engines/ 6 - Cummins
Enorchile´s first project was realized in a time of Fuel Diesel
great instability in the grid and provided support for Commissioning 2002
our customer for years. Investment US$ 2.000.000
Today they serve as backup up and peak units and
it’s importance was shown after the earthquakes of
2007 and 2008 where they started to deliver energy
to the grid after 5 minutes. Location Iquique
Power 4,8 MW
DP Estandartes Type/Units Engines/ 6 - Cat
Combustible Diesel
DP Estandartes is the logic grow of the previous Commissioning 2009
power plant. These new engines show the Investment US$ 2.000.000
differences in 10 years of development. Highly
efficient and with remote operation, new standards
were set with its commissioning.

14. GP Bicentenario Location Calama
Power 9.6 MW
The gas power plant "Bicentenario" was Enorchile’s
Type/Units Engines/ 3 – Wärtsilä
first experience with natural gas. Located in Calama,
near the world biggest cupper mine Chuquicamata, Commissioning 2002
this power plant was of great importance to the city. Investment US$ 8.000.000
The energy generated ensured reliability and
improved the energy quality of the distribution grid,
years ahead of the current regulation.

15. Location Rancagua
Central Térmica Esperanza Power Total: 22,2 MW
Type/Units 1 GT Fr. 5 Heavy Duty - Hitachi
2 CAT 3516
This project was the company’s first experience with Fuel Gas/Diesel
gas turbines and the operation of a power plant in the
Commissioning 2007
Central Interconnected System (SIC).
Investment US$ 5.000.000
Installed beside a cupper mine, this project showed
how a good business model based on synergies can
raise the profitability of an energy project.

17. TE-EOLICA is a joint venture between Enorchile and TAIMWESER to
develop wind farms in Chile.
TAIMWESER specializes in research and assembly of wind farms. Both
companies seek to combine efforts to promote wind farms in our country.
