                MUSIC MAGAZINE The Music magazine that I chose to make was a grime magazine. I decided to do a Grime magazine because I feel I no allot about Grime and I also have a lot of friends in the Grime scene at the moment so if I needed any input I could get some easily. I also chose to do Grime because there are currently no grime magazines in the market so I am trying to get my magazine established and if my magazine is the only one in the market people who want to buy a grime magazine will have to buy my one as there will be no others.

          TARGET AUDIENCE The target audience for my magazine are 14-20 year olds. I feel this is a good target audience because younger kids will not understand some of the words or punch lines used by some of the artists.  Don’t get me wrong younger kids do still listen to grime swell as the older ones but I feel this is the audience I should be portraying my magazine to. My magazine will be for 14 year olds as well  as it does not contain any swear words or anything bad that parents would be angry about. I decided to attract my audience with the artists names I used and the colour which makes it bright
CODES AND CONVENTIONS In my research I found out that most of the hip hop magazines follow a colour scheme of red black and white.  Some choose too add a few other colours like green and brown . I also found out that most of them used a mid shot image with the person making eye contact with the audience, some of them attract different genders as if it’s a female they make her look sexy which would attract the male audience. The mise en scene also plays a important role with the clothes they are wearing or in some cases the background.

PHOTOSHOP AND INDESIGN In the last task this was a big problem for me as I was not used to the software's so I needed a lot of help. I still needed help in this task but no were near as much and it shows with how much I have improved. I can now crop photos and import them in to indesign a lot easier and I can make my images look better. It helps because you can do your work a lot quicker and make it look better without wasting time.
