![Copying with WinSCP<br />Introduction<br />WinSCP is the FTP (file transfer protocol) application that we use to copy files from our computers to the web. WinSCP is an open source application that can be downloaded from Mott’s site for free. Copying with WinSC
- 2. Click “Run”
- 3. If your computer gives you a security warning, allow WinSCP to install/run
- 5. Enter the following information
- 7. Username: your Blackboard username
- 8. Password: your Blackboard password
- 10. Locate the public_html folder on your computer
- 11. Everything in your web space should match what is on your computer
- 12. To copy files drag the file you wish to copy from your computer’s public_html folder to your web space. You may also do this with entire folders once we get further in the course.
