Чтобы вовлечь, нужна встреча Интерфейсы в массе своей не вовлекают. Мы не хватаем пользователя за руки, и ждём, когда он догадается, что ему делать. Чтобы вовлечь нужно быть активнее.
Не вовлекающие новости Ссылки  не подчеркнуты. Нет призыва к действию. Пользователя не поощряют за интерес, а только за клик.
Подчеркнутые ссылки Ухудшение читабельности. Визуальная перегрузка. Не эстетично.
Призыв к действию Будут ли чаще кликать? Визуальная перегрузка. Проблемы с общедоступностью (у ссылок должны быть уникальные надписи).
Реагирование на пользователя Пользователь (даже случайно) провел мышкой. Объекты демонстрируют ему свою отзывчивость.

«Желтая» партнерка делает это
Яндекс.Новости делает это
Разнообразие вовлечения Вовлечение в просмотр; Вовлечение в общение; и т.д. Главное – это немедленное поощрение.
Информационный запах Сайт должно хотеться «потрогать». «Трогать» сайт должно быть приятно. Поощряйте пользователя!
Когда пора остановиться? Вовлекайте все время, но не переигрывайте. Вовлечение должны быть быстрым. Постоянный призыв к действию.
Вовлечение может быть запрещено законом? Вовлекайте пока у вас не отняли эту возможность!
