Having the captions on the recorded lecture
was helpful
“It was a lot easier for me to follow along when having the captions, otherwise it
is easy for me to stop paying attention halfway through a video.”
“…it allowed me to pause the video & take notes without having to
replay the same parts over & over.”
“…you could read and listen helping myself to understand it better.”
“…sometimes I would watch in the library and I didn’t have
headphones so the audio would be turned off.”

didn’t catch something.”

The worst thing about the recorded
lectures was:
“The ability to listen to the lecture multiple times and skip to the part I didn’t
understand the first time.”
“It really helped me to narrow my studies, I was not keen on them in the beginning
but by the end they really helped me to understand the content.”
“Not being able to play them when internet was not available. I did not have internet
at my apartment and therefore had to watch the videos at friends houses or on
campus.”
“The in-class time was spent answering questions only. If the videos were not watched
then I didn’t learn anything in class.
