with other attendees before the event.
3. Time is precious - Get there early, it will give you time to greet other attendees.
Maximize your time- attend breakfasts, lunches, cocktail hours and receptions.
Smile – appear approachable.
Small Talk - “I really enjoyed your presentation on…” "Is this your first #ACI
conference on… ?”
Ditch the sales pitch. Remember, networking is all about relationship building.
Share information about yourself – But don’t forger to listen.

4. Add everyone you met to your professional networks.
Become a valuable resource to your contacts- post/share articles, links,
white papers etc.
Engage with your new contacts on their social media pages.
Make it a point to follow up – a few days after the event follow up with a brief
e-mail or note.
