Mao Zedong
Mao Tse-tung principal Chinese Marxist theorist,
soldier, and statesman who led his nation's
communist revolution. Leader of the Chinese
Communist Party from 1931, he was chairman
(chief of state) of the People's Republic of China
from 1949 to 1959 and chairman of the party
until his death.

3. MEXICAN PESO
Emiliano Zapata was born in the village of San Miguel
Anencuilco in the state of Morelos the 8th of August
1879. The legendary Emiliano Zapata was a Mexican
revolutionary who attained the status of hero for his
commitment to land reform and his unfailing support
for the disenfranchised. The son of mestizo parents,
Zapata led a group of peasants who in 1909 sought to
recover lands belonging to them that had been
appropriated by hacienda owners. By 1910, Zapata
and his men had occupied by force the expropriated
land and distributed them among themselves. In
1911, Zapata joined Francisco Madero to overthrow
Mexican dictator Porfirio Díaz.

The Japanese currency is the Yen, literally
meaning "circle". One yen corresponds to 100
sen. However, sen are not used in everyday life

Yen, 2,000 Yen (very rare), 5,000 Yen and
10,000 Yen.

The Russian ruble, often denoted by RUB, is the name
of the currencies of the Russian Federation and
Belarus( and formerly of the soviet Union and the
Russian empire). The ruble has been the Russian
unit of currency for several centuries, and the name
stems from the Russian verb rubit, meaning, “to chop”.
Historically, “ruble” was a piece of a certain weight
chopped off a silver ingot (grivna). The ruble was the
Russian equivalent of the mark, a measurement of
weight for silver and gold used in medieval western
Europe.

What is a EURO?
The Euro is the single currency of the European
Monetary Union, which was adopted by 11 Member
States from January 1 1999. The 11 Member states are
Belgium,. Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, and
Finland. Greece became the 12th member on Jan 2001.
The name “Euro” was chosen by the European Heads
of state or government at the European Council
meeting in Madrid in December 1995.
