Vimeo was the first site to support 720p HD playback in 2007 and offers various membership levels including free, Plus for $60/year, and PRO for businesses. Vimeo is popular for indie films and music releases and holds annual awards for videos. It also partners with the UN for the One Day on Earth project to archive footage from around the world in a given day.
