2. BACKGROUND
• how it came about: I found a big office unit which I
could not fully occupy and utilize hence the idea of a
grouping of design/ creativity-based work group or
biz organization sprung up
• concept: an art space as the front that could be self
sustaining to promote art, art appreciation, art
collection and other good cause such as “art for
charity” by cross-sharing common facilities and
operated under minimal cost; build a biz network via
the art gallery
3. LOCATION
• where? located at Jalan Universiti, Section 13,
Petaling Jaya. Block D, Unit 7, 3rd Flr to be precise
• why? This area is fast becoming the commercial &
entertainment hub of Petaling Jaya Section 13 & 14
and it’s easily accessible via various expressways
• who? Users/occupants are mainly multi-national
companies, banks & services providers, consulting
firms, a Cold Storage supermarket (considered high-
end grocers), a wide array of f&b outlets, a local
college IACT and PJ Performing Arts Center
(something like Actor’s Studio) – all potential clients
and referrals

10. DOLLARS & CENTS
• start-up cost? mainly interior renovation cost and
basic inventory. Cost for main infra like main door
card access and pantry shall be borne by Architect
office
• operation cost? Nominal rental RM1,000 per month
inclusive of space rental, utility cost, cleaning/up
keep cost and cross-sharing of toilet/pantry and
meeting rooms.
