• Enter your 6 digit license number OMITTING

• IF your license is ACTIVE, enter your FIRM zip

• Follow the prompts for payment.
• ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE PROCESSED

• Print your confirmation as receipt and write the
time and date as it will not be printed
9. TREC LICENSE STATUS
• License Status: Active and Retired
• Inactive = NON-Renewable License
• Broker Released = NON-Renewable
License
10. TREC LICENSE STATUS
• Inactive Status-
• Licensee must complete education before expiry in order
for license to be retired.
• Broker Released-
• TREC sends letter to licensee’s home address after release
from PB stating what licensee needs to do with license
• Licensee has 10 days to affiliate with another firm or must
go inactive or retire
• AVOID $250.00 citation
11. TREC COMMUNICATION
• ACTIVE Licensees shall receive mail at their office mailing
address
• Inactive, Broker Released and Retired Licensees shall
receive mail at the last updated address on file with the
Commission
• Mail from TREC is not forwarded
• Sign for certified mail. Do not ignore it!
12. TREC UPDATES
• Policy on Internet Advertising- applies to “First
Generation” advertising
• Death or Extended Absence of Principal Broker- a
new principal broker must be in place no later than the
61st day
