A large energy saving potential was highlighted by the indicators
in all sectors
Countries should focus in priority on electricity efficiency
because of the critical issues
Further works should be carried out on data availability and
reliability at sector and subsector level
Deepen the specific indicators on energy expenses and
subsidies
Prepare our self to profit from the expected international
agreement on climate package (NAMA, NSM, etc.)
Start asp a process of bottom up indicator approach which is
complementary to top down approach developed in this project
Institutionalize the process of indicator making in the countries
their exchange at regional level
Coordination with other initiatives (MEDSTAT, MEDENER, LAS,
EU, IEA, etc.)
