Grade Level: Late Middle School-Early High School
Objectives: Allow students to interact with money giving them practice
understanding and adding coins with bills before putting it to use in a real life
environment . This allows students to identify bills and coins and practice adding
them together to increase their understanding of the value of money.
Directions
Money: Coins and Bills is an interactive classroom activity which is designed
for the student(s) to participate either in a group or individually. The first part
of the activity is designed to teach the students the value of coins and bills,
ranging from pennies to 10 (ten) dollar bills.
