It helps you understand the current state of new technology and how it impacts our relationships, communication and psyche as well as development in the 21st century.

- The most commonly recognized definition of bullying includes repeated, unwanted aggressive behavior over a period of time with an imbalance of power between the bully and the victim Manifestations of cyberbullying include name calling, sending embarrassing pictures, sharing personal information or secrets without permission, and spreading rumors. It can also include trickery, exclusion, and impersonation.
- Safe: Keep safe by being careful not to give out personal information – such as your name, email, phone number, home address, or school name – to people who you don’t trust online. Meeting: Meeting someone you have only been in touch with online can be dangerous. Only do so with your parents’ permission and even then only when they can be present. Accepting: Accepting emails, IM messages, or opening files, pictures or texts from people you don’t know or trust can lead to problems – they may contain viruses or nasty messages! Reliable: Someone online may be lying about who they are, and information you find on the internet may not be reliable.
