The pencil understands that it was created by its Maker for a purpose and that it must allow itself to be held and used by others. It will experience sharpening and hardships but these will make it better. The most important part of the pencil is what's inside and it must continue writing and leaving marks no matter the difficulty. Applying this to people, we were all created by God for a purpose and must allow Him to guide us. We will face challenges that strengthen us and the most important thing is our character. We should continue serving God in all situations.
