Your professor has shared a spreadsheet with you. You want to check that you have
it.
> Go to Google Docs
(docs.google.com) and Log On
> Select All items
> Check and see if the item there underneath name. It will be the file name that the
professor told you. _____________________________________________
IF you do not see the document or spreadsheet:
1. Your email must match the email account used by the professor. IF the professor
mailed it to the incorrect account, then, discuss with the professor the account that
should be used. The professor may have to resend it.
2. You may have to refresh your page, and select all items again.
Make the File YOURS!
You will copy and rename the file so it is no
longer the professors. You will make it your
own.
Copy the File
> Select the shared file. It will open.
> Select File > Make a Copy
Rename
A box will appear and you can rename the
document.
> Rename the document.
Now your document will be saved. This is the one that you should change. Make
sure that the your new title is at the top of your screen.

Complete the activity in the spreadsheet. When you are done you are going to
embed the chart into your WIKI page.
Embed the Chart
When you have completed your spreadsheet, you are going to embed the chart into
the WIKI page.
1. Publish your chart
> Select the Chart – Click your mouse on the chart, and
the word Chart will appear in blue, with an arrow.
> Select Publish Chart. Code will appear.
2. Copy and paste the code into a web page that you
want.
> Select All ‐ the code (Highlight or Ctrl A)
> Copy it ‐Options (Right Click or Ctrl C)
Embed into the WIKI page
1. Open the Wiki Page to your page.
2. Embed into WIKI
> Select EDIT This Page (near the top)
Put your curser where you think you want the cartoon.
> Select the Widget Icon the tool bar. It looks like a TV.
