your unit plan?
Poll Everywhere can be used to assess prior knowledge of a
subject without the students feeling singled out. It can also
be used to introduce a new subject. It can be used to assess
5. comprehension at the end of a lesson. The poll above, steps
5-8, is an example of how I would use Poll Everywhere in
my unit plan. The poll would open up a discussion about
recycling.
Pros: Students do not feel embarrassed to answer. Results
are instant so no wait time for assessment. Questions are not
limited.
Cons: Everyone must have a computer or phone. Some
students may not answer truthfully. Could have technical
complications.
