I have never been to Kuala Lumpur airport and need to find out if there is an internet café. I
am aware that there is free wifi in places but I specifically need to be able to go and print off
some tickets. Are there any such facilities in or within walking distance to the airport?

Yea I think you can. I did it at the lounge but I am quite sure there are some plug points in the
airport. You have to get an adapter though because the format of the plug here British.

Depends on what mode of transport that you are using..if you are travelling by a car or a cab,
the journey would be approx 1 hour 30 minutes. If you are travelling by connecting busses, it
would takes about almost 2 hours and the fastest would be by the KLIA Express train. From
Petronas KLCC, take a cab to KL Sentral and catch the KLIA Express to KLIA direct. You will be
there in less than an hour.

Hi guys, Im a sri lankan passport holder and i have a transit at Kuala Lumpur for 14 hours. can
i stay at pan pacific hotel without clearing immigration? Or if i should clear immigration should i
apply for transit visa?
I heard that Sri Lankans are able to go out of the airport without a transit visa. Is this true? I
could not find this in the Malaysian immigration website. Please advice me.

Pan Pacific Hotel is located outside the arrival hall of the KLIA and you must clear Mmmigration
& Custom before you can get to it. Sri Lankans are required to get a visa for Malaysia. However,
Transit With Out Visa (TWOV) are available to Sri Lankans if you meet the listed conditions,
including valid visa for the listed 3rd country, if you travel on MAS or AirAsia – see here for

Please note that there is the Airside Transit Hotel located at KLIA’s Satellite Building, that you
can stay without having to clear Immigration and Custom. It also has the option to use its
shower facilities without checking in. Maybe this is all you need.

Hello,
I am travelling and am making a stop in Kuala Lumpur airport for a night. I would like to do
some shopping whilst there. Does any one know from experience if I would be able to leave my
luggage in my hotel room at the air port for a short shopping trip so I don’t have to take it all
through customs?

Good luck with that. The airport is extremely far from KL. At least 1-2hr by bus or taxi
(depending on traffic). If u’re gonna do it, make sure u give yourself enough time to get back to
the airport cos traffic in KL is a bitch!
