Louisville (KY) Metro Government recently pioneered the use of corridor-based bicycle and pedestrian trip
prediction techniques to ultimately support CMAQ and Transportation Enhancement fund expenditures.
Numbers of bicyclists and pedestrians were predicted for each segment of an extensive study network, based on the characteristics of the segments and their surrounding areas, as part of Louisville Metro's bicycle and pedestrian master planning process.
