This document summarizes trends in technology for cities and counties in 2013. It outlines the top "Ins" and "Outs" for general technology, technical areas, and areas of focus for city and county CIOs. Some key trends include a shift to cloud-based solutions, big data and predictive analytics, mobility, and consumerization of technology.
