ELOS technology uses optical energy and radiofrequency (RF) current to heat adipose tissue and tighten skin. It can be combined with vacuum pulses. The technology works by increasing metabolism in fat cells and improving blood circulation through tissue heating and mechanical stretching of connective tissue. Typical treatment involves 8-10 sessions spaced two weeks apart, with additional "supporting" treatments every 1-3 months. Hyperthermia increases oxygen delivery and the rate of metabolic reactions in fat cells, helping to break up fat deposits and improve skin texture and appearance.
