- The theme song “Life is a Highway” from the movie Cars will be playing in the background as I begin this presentation. I will discuss education as being a journey with several tools used along the way – maps, signs, a tow truck now and then, and the trip in general. Emphasis on lots of ways to get from point A to point B (ultimately graduation in our arena), but the tools including teachers and technology are vital. In the end we need lifelong learners with 21 st century skills to keep us all moving down the road (of progress).
