Development of the Civilization Rivers allowed the civilization to develop because towns and cities were made along the rivers, especially Huang He because the river was good for fish, silt (a really good soil for farms), and even for trade boats because the Huang He was a large river. The Chang Jiang is also known for Long River so it was used for trade. Farming was also good along the Chang Jiang because land was good and water needed was taken from that river.
15. Development of the Civilization People built there houses beside mines in Ancient China because it had all the riches inside that also allowed china to develop as a civilization. The ocean was also a big part in the development of the civilization because it was a good food resource such as fishes. It was also a trade port because they could go from the ocean the straight in to one of the rivers.
