 During the 1900’s the water was off limits to everyone, due to the

 Today is a sustainable park with a great process of collecting rain

INVENTORY  Reuse in many materials. These materials are called salvaged
materials which aids in the sustainability of the park.

RECYCLED WOOD- Park benches, cladding for new park
structures, site furnishings, and wooden decking are
LIABILITIES constructed from old growth Longleaf Yellow Pine that has
been salvaged from Cold Storage Buildings on the uplands of

SALVAGED GRANITE- The “Granite Prospect” on Pier 1 has
made of over 300 pieces of granite salvaged from the

STRATEGY JANE's CAROUSEL- is a completely restored historic Carousel
made by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (1922).
CLIMATE STRATEGY RAIL TRACKS- Right in the interception of Old Fulton St. and
Water St. are the remaining of tracks from the late 1800’s.
