do not have springs and this kind does not
bounce as much as the ones with springs. This is
good for kids since they will not be at risk of
getting hurt when springs break and their
pointy ends become exposed. Over time, the
mats can wear out or get ripped and this is not
safe for bouncing anymore. This is not a reason
for you to dispose your device right away. You
can still buy parts and make use of it again.

purchasing, do it. Your effort is worth it since
you can never risk having a broken bone due to
carelessness. Who will use the device? Where
will you place it? These may be common
questions but important preferences when
buying parts. Be extra careful when performing
tricks in the air and never let more than one
person bounce on it. This device can be fun but

5. Safety and Precautions
for Owners of
Trampolines
Trampolines are made of strong and taut
fabrics that are stretched over a steel frame and
held by durable coiled springs for people to
bounce on. We all know that jumping on them
is not only fun, but also very beneficial in so
many ways in terms of our physical and mental
health. On the flip side, we can also never deny
the fact that, as fun and exciting as it may
appear, defying gravity and bouncing on these
pads also poses a lot of risks.
Recent surveys conducted in different parts of
the world have shown that bouncing pads are
becoming more common in a lot of private
homes. Likewise, the number of individuals,
most especially young boys and girls, who visit
the hospital due to trampoline-related injuries
have also increase. On the other hand, such
unwanted events can still be controlled with
proper care and safety measures. Find below
are a couple of safety tips for all men and
women who have these items in the backyard
of their homes in order to avoid, if not
minimize, accidents from happening.
1. One of the most common and practical thing
to do is to have safety walls and enclosures
around the trampoline. This is going to keep the
people jumping on it from falling off. In addition
to this, it is also advisable to provide safety pads
and cushions surround the trampoline in case
there would be any unwanted fall.
2. If you cannot provide the ones mentioned
above, at least install your trampolines in the
lawn wherein the grasses can be a softer place
to “accidentally fall” in comparison to tiles and
concrete pavements. At the same time, it is also
important to ensure that the surface of the fall
zone is free from any sharp objects such as
chipped woods and shards of broken glasses. In
addition to this, it should also be clear from any
hazards such as toys and clothes lines. As a
matter of fact, it is recommended to have an
eight meter clearance from the gown to the
over head so as to lower down risks of getting
accidents.
3. Young boys and girls should be supervised at
all times whenever they are playing on
trampolines in Australia. As much as possible,
children who are below six years should not be
allowed to play. Likewise, using ladders with the
bouncing pads is strictly prohibited due to the
fact that it could it can be accessed by the little
ones without any supervision.
4. Read the manual. This may sound and appear
common sense for all of us; but in all actuality,
there are still a lot of men and women who
have the tendency to forget this simple fact.
Reading the little booklets that go with the
trampolines for sale is highly recommended
since they provide owners instructions and
precautions with regards to using their
purchased items.
