Oil rigs (also called offshore platforms or oil platforms).
These large structures contain facilities to drill, to do the
extraction and processing of oil and natural gas. Oil rigs are
applied in many ways: fixed to the ocean floor, on an artificial
island or floating.

the suspended swivel
and allow the hook to
rotate.

bearings support the drill stem and
allow the mud to flow while drilling.

inside the sheaves to support high
loads in limited radial space.

followers are used to guide the rig’s drive
