We are a local community theatre in operation since 1947 with an aging 40+ year old theatre building. We need the help of the community with the upkeep of our beautiful theatre. This presentation details who we are and what we need from the community, how individuals as well as companies can help our local icon remain just that, a local icon. Hottentots Holland
Dramatic Society was
founded in 1947

3. It is run entirely by
volunteers.
On, off and in front
of the stage.

4. The HHDS owns
the Playhouse Theatre
seating 194 patrons
situated on the corner of
Lourensford Rd/Swalle Rd
Somerset West, SA

5. The theatre was built in
1972 and extended
over the years.
It is an aging building.
