2. What is this?
Geocaching is a real-
world, outdoor treasure
hunting game that
requires only GPS-enabled
devices. (For example just
an iPhone, or Android
Mobile). Participants
navigate to a specific set of
GPS coordinates and then
attempt to find the
geocache (container)
hidden at that location.
3. Very cool is that
everyone can take part
in this game! The only
requirement is to create
an account on the
Geocaching community
webpage.

4. But I think the coolest thing is that you can
play it wherever you are!
Literally everywhere! Even if you live in the
small village (like me).
Caches can be hidden almost everywhere
(in a tree hollow, underwater, in the forests,
etc.) there is even a Geocache hidden in the
space! It’s hidden in the International Space
Station ISS and it’s placed by an astronaut!
5. Every green, yellow, blue and red square
on this map is a single Geocaching
container (geocache), you can find each
one of them, or place new ones!
6. You can find geocaches with different sizes, there
are 4 size categories:
•Micro
•Small
•Regular
•Large
8. But they contain almost the same things inside.
What things?
•Logbook – a notebook for finders’ signatures.
•Pencil – to sign to logbook when you find the
cache.
•Things to exchange – Things that Geocachers
leave in the Cache in order to take with
theirselves things already leaved there by others.
(This can be really anything, except dangerous
things like ammunition, explosives, knives, etc. )
10. There are over 2,376,000 active
geocaches this and over 6 million
geocachers worldwide.
You can become a geocacher
even now, just create an account
on the Geocaching website as I
wrote at the beginning.
Enjoy! I hope you'll like it!
