Not many people think about their nutritional needs or
 how important they are. They don't know that the brain
won't develop well if it doesn't get enough protein, or that
  the female body needs certain substances to regulate
                        metabolism.
Here are some ideas for you to know what your nutritional
            needs are and how to meet them.
In the media, we often hear and see experts advising us to
  take vitamins, eat fortified cereals, and drink milk, but
what we really need is advice on healthy eating habits and
healthy food. We have to learn how to provide our bodies
   with the right food, vitamins, and minerals to keep it
                           healthy.
First of all, we should educate ourselves about our needs.
      Then we can use that knowledge and apply it to
 buying, preparing, and eating appropriate foods. Know
  that nutritional needs will change as our age changes.
In general, our need for vitamins and minerals is far more
 important than our caloric needs. If we need it, then we
can take vitamin and mineral supplements to fill the gap if
     we don't get enough of them from our daily diet.
Nutrition is an extremely complicated subject because
   there are so many variables to consider. We have to
 change what we eat and how we eat as we grow older.
Additionally, the nutritional needs of people with illnesses
   are different from those of healthy individuals. Few
doctors recognize this fact, however, and may provide the
same nutrition advice to health pregnant women as to an
                    ailing cancer patient.
We should give much importance to our nutritional needs
so we can keep our bodies healthy. And we must pursue
  more knowledge concerning how nutrition, physical
exercise, and mental and emotional factors influence our
                 overall health status.
