6. P3O LifecycleDoing nothing is going backwards. The business will change continually, which requires different levels of maturity or prioritization each time. Therefore the P3O model is a flexible model, which changes along with the needs organization. 7. P3O in the Netherlands In 2009 the first Dutch professionals received their P3O certification. You will find them in the Dutch group ‘P3Ogecertificeerden‘on Linkedin. www.linkedin.com P3O has been introduced in 2009 within IPMA in a special edition of ‘Projectie’, the magazine op IPMA Netherlands: the PMO Special (december 2009). In my P3O article I have introduced the P3O model, the terminology and the benefits for portfolio, programme and projectmanagers by asking ´what´s in it for me?´.
