PERSONAL PRONOUNS A pronoun is a word that is used instead of the name of a person or thing.

PERSONAL PRONOUNS Indirect Object Pronouns (IO) The IO answers the question: "To whom?" or "For whom?"  the action of the verb is performed.

 To CARLOS. IO= CARLOS He buys ME flowers.
