1. Not everyone in the world is blessed with a mother that is as “OUTSTANDING” as my mother.
2. A “ MOTHER” who fills her role in every way that a good mother should. A “MOTHER” whose love is unconditional, and who has always been there for those she loves, as much as life itself. A “ MOTHER” that can be counted on, and who stands beside you, not over you.
3. A Mother that is the true essence of the word “ MOM ”. Who fills my memories with the aroma of home-cooked meals, the warmth & safety of a loving home, and who taught me… that all the things really worth fighting for, come from within our hearts.
4. When I think of my MOM and all the things she represents in my life… “ How can I ever begin to squeeze a lifetime into a couple of paragraphs and hope that she understands this deep and immense love and respect that I have always had for her? ”
5. My MOM is that pillar of strength who believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. Who always had words of reassurance and a belief that no matter how dark the world became, the sun would shine again, and the Lord would watch over us all, the way she always watches over her family.
6. In a world where ethics and morals have gone the wayside, and technology has played a leading role in the “ Desensitization ” of Family Values… “MY MOM IS ONE OF MY HEROES”
7. And there is no way I could measure the value, of the many ways in which she has enriched my life experience… by simply being herself.
8. My mom never climbed Mount Everest. But she climbed many other mountains in raising a family of seven children, that would make climbing Everest seem like a Sunday afternoon Tea-Party. And that’s pretty much the way she looks at it too.
9. My mom never rescued the whole world or cured incurable diseases. But she’s gone through a couple thousand band-aids. And her touch is a magical, healing thing in itself.
10. And my mom never starred in a movie or published a best seller either. But the book she wrote across a lifetime of raising her family… is forever etched in my heart. It’s story a true testament dedicated to Love, Courage and Devotion.
11. And although my mom never attended Church on a regular basis, she’s a Lady of Great Faith who taught her family well. Always trusting that we might find God with the same conviction, that she knew… God would find us. And walk with us through the valley of evil.
