A MESSAGE FROM PAT
Dear Family and Friends,
When I look at this picture I feel great joy and a big challenge.
My friend, Cecilia, says this picture is a synthesis of hope, combined with
experience. I believe, as our Hope for eternal life is in God; our hope for this
world is in our children and in every child.
In the sixteen years I have lived in the midst of the poor of Latin America,
studied my theology career, worked as a manual laborer, labored as a street
vendor, worked in the streets with kids (and loving every minute of it) I have
come to one conclusion in life; There is no greater gift we can give to change
poverty in the world than:
SHARING OUR FAITH!
Our faith in action can move mountains of Injustice. Our faith in action can build the “new heaven and new earth” that Christ
promises us in the Gospel. Our faith can reconcile us into the one human family we truly are, as a people of God. Once again, I
invite you to give this year and help support the Mission of SHARING THE GOOD NEWS WITH THE POOR!
