Josh:We are J&A Ltd, an advertisingcompany.Andwe are introducinganew cereal bar.
Andy:Our newcereal Bar iscalledRainbow Rider,andthe sloganis“BringingColourto the Table”
Josh,care to explainwhy we have chosenthisname andslogan?
Josh:Well,atthe time of namingthe bar, we were experimentingwithnamestofindsomethingthat
people wouldremember,somethingthatwouldhelpkeepthe productpopular- whichis whenwe
eventuallysettledonRainbowRider.
Andy:We decidedonthisname as we were aimingtoendorse ahealthycereal bar,and fruitgoes
well incereal bars.Because fruitiscolourful likearainbow,havinganame withthe wordrainbow in
it wouldhelpshowhowhealthythe baris,aswell ashow happyit wouldmake you feel.
Josh:The reasonwe chose “BringingColourtothe Table”is because the cereal barwill make your
eatingroutine lessdull,andallowyoutoenjoyeatingtime while gettinghealthy fromitatthe same
time.
Andy:We both designedwrappersforthe cereal barbasedon the name and slogan,andinthe end
we chose my design- the silverone withthe stickmen.
Josh:The menonthe wrapperappearto flow fromexhaustiontosprinting,thisisbecause the cereal
bar “bringsyou to life”fromwithin.Itwill make youfeel more alive andmobile.
Andy:We mainlyhope toaim thisbar at kidsas a lunchitemandthe mumsthat will buythem, as
theycan helpthe kidslearn,interactandstayhappy.
Josh:It isalso a goodbreakfastsnack,as it will wake youupinthe morning.If youhave a busy
lifestyle, the barwill helpyougetthroughthe day’swork.Andif youlike todo exercise andsports,
thisbar will give youthe stimulationyouneedto keepgoingandstayactive.
Andy:We intendtosell thiscereal barin supermarketsasa lotof people inthe UK buytheirfood in
Supermarkets. However,we will sell themexclusivelyinSainsbury’s foranintroductoryperiodtosee
howpopulartheyare before sellingtoothersupermarketssuchasTesco,The Cooperative andmany
others.We will alsotryour bestto provide thematcheap,affordable priceswhereverpossible.
Josh:For advertising,we will show the baronbusesandin publicplacesasmanyof the people here
will be busy,andwe believethatRainbowRiderbarswill helpthemthroughthe day.We will also
advertise onTV as people whohave beenworkinghardforhourswill wantto watchTV whenthey
gethome as it isrelaxing,andshowingthe cereal barduringTV ad breakswill tell the viewerthat
these cereal barswill improve theirqualityof life.
