It's a pedestrian street and it’s always
crowded with tourists at any time of the year.
Portal de l'Àngel is one of the most important
shopping venues in Barcelona.

was designed by a Catalan architect called Antoni
Gaudi in 1882.

UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in November
2010 was consecrated and proclaimed a minor

aspects of the project, fined the owners for many
infractions of building codes, ordered the
demolition of aspects exceeding the height
standard for the city.
19. La Rambla is a long street in the centre of
Barcelona. It starts in Plaça Catalunya between
the old quartiers Barri Gòtic and El Raval and it
finishes at Port Vell with the Christopher
Columbus Monument near the sea.
