3. New Prayer Requests:
t Pray for both Al & Shirley Jacobs. Al had a heart stent
placed in Grand Rapids on 9/10 and Shirley is in Holland
Hospital battling double pneumonia plus she had another hernia
surgery on Thursday.
t Pray for Frankie Zwiers who had surgery on 9/12 for
possible breast cancer.
t Pray for healing for Eric Stone who has strep throat and mono and that
the college will be willing to work with him as he misses school.
t Dave Timmer who will be having his 4th immunotherapy infusion at CTCA
in Zion, IL tomorrow. Please pray that the tumors are shrinking.
t Praise the Lord that Karen Visser’s emergency hip replacement on 9/9
went well. PTL that Stephanie (Balder) Miller has been accepted into the
Habitat for Humanity program to have a home renovated for her with
handicap accessibility in Albion near her parents.

This two-year course is designed to give those students in 8th-11th grade a thorough
knowledge of the Bible. The first year focuses on the basics of the Bible and introduces the
Old Testament history from creation to Israel’s return from exile. It is foundational to a
proper understanding of the New Testament and will equip the student with Bible Study
tools and insights they will use their entire adult life. The 2nd year covers the New
Testament and essential Christian doctrines. B.I.G. will be meeting on Sundays from
5:00-6:00 p.m. beginning 9/29. It is a two-year commitment. If you are a Sr. this year,
you will be allowed & encouraged to participate in this important Old Testament course.
