Missions FAITH-PROMISE Giving
Our 2014 Missions Festival provides us with the opportunity to renew our
Faith Promise commitments to missions, or to begin a pattern of regular
giving toward missions work through Parkside Bible Church. Why do we
utilize this model of giving? We believe it is God’s way!
The Faith-Promise plan of missionary support giving works beyond
expectations because it is based on the principles of God’s Word.

FAITH

You purpose in your heart to give because you have first surrendered yourself to Christ. You promise to give an amount to the Lord’s work
through missions, above and beyond your regular church giving, because you
believe the amount would be a God-honoring proportion of your income.
Then you are encouraged to trust God to meet this promise.

REGULARITY
A Faith-Promise involves a regular giving pattern weekly or monthly
to the Lord’s work in a proportionate manner.

SPIRITUALITY
The amount you promise is a transaction between you and God. No one will
ask you for it. This plan leads you to not only face your responsibility before
the Lord, but it enables you to enter into the great blessings of His promises.
“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

Commitment
This plan permits our missionaries to know that you are committed to support a
portion of His work. As we give we are reminded to pray, for “where a person’s
treasure is, there will his heart be also.”

it to Ria, Angi, or Hannah. Job descriptions are

Because “God so loved...that He gave...” Will you give your life
and love to Him? Then help our effort to reach “Every Neighbor,
Every Nation” and step into a new vital experience of Missions
“Faith-Promise” giving that will enhance your life now and will
bring honor and glory to our blessed Lord for time and for eternity.

available at VBS table in the fellowship hall.

May God bless you in your Missions “Faith-Promise” commitment!

Our 2013 Bolivia missions team raised about $35,000.00 as well as many
people supporting other missions efforts outside of church support!

This insightful Bible study uses the example of Paul’s
church in Ephesus to show readers how they can be
victorious Christians, living in God’s Word, and free from
sin based on a study book by Sue Edwards. A lesson/
teaching will be provided by various
teachers of our church.
Today is the last day to sign up for a Study Book (for $10)
so you will have it in time for the March 23 class.
If you haven’t signed up yet for the class, if you need a book
or if you have questions, please contact Ria Nieboer ASAP
at 786-3372 or email her at rianieboer@gmail.com.

Why do we utilize this model of giving? We believe it is God’s way! The Faith-Promise plan of missionary support giving works beyond expectations because it is based on the principles of God’s Word. Some of the principles are: Outreach (at Leisure Estates, a mobile-home park):  Helping at a Carnival Style Outreach Event on Saturday, 6/ 7 from 3-6 pm (set-up, games, clean up, and sign-up for VBS) During VBS, I would like to help in one or more of the following areas (please check) Registration:  Assistant (Monday – Wednesday) Group Guide:  Guide (grade preferred: ______ ) Bible Story Center:  Coordinator  Teacher  Assistant Pre-K (for staff’s children):  Coordinator  Assistant Nursery:  Coordinator  Assistant (Available dates: ________) Bible Games Center:  Coordinator  Assistant LOCAL Mission Project:  Coordinator  Assistant Craft Center:  Coordinator  Assistant Outreach:  Van Driver  Pick-up/Drop-off Assistant Worship Team:  Youth Worship Team Member Skit:  Opening Assembly Skit Actor  Closing Assembly Bible Story Skit Actor Tech Team:  Audio/visual tech Snack Center:  Assistant Name: ______________________________________________ E mail Address: _____________________________________ Phone: _____________________________________________ FAITH You purpose in your heart to give because you have first surrendered yourself to Christ. You promise to give an amount to the Lord’s work through missions, above and beyond your regular church giving, because you believe the amount would be a God-honoring proportion of your income. Then you are encouraged to trust God to meet this promise. REGULARITY A Faith-Promise involves a regular giving pattern weekly or monthly to the Lord’s work in a proportionate manner. SPIRITUALITY The amount you promise is a transaction between you and God. No one will ask you for it. This plan leads you to not only face your responsibility before the Lord, but it enables you to enter into the great blessings of His promises. “Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” Commitment This plan permits our missionaries to know that you are committed to support a portion of His work. As we give we are reminded to pray, for “where a person’s treasure is, there will his heart be also.” it to Ria, Angi, or Hannah. Job descriptions are Because “God so loved...that He gave...” Will you give your life and love to Him?
