4. ULIP is the one kind of insurance plans which is linked to the
investment options. Many people prefer to invest on the ULIP
plans because it yields better return.
ULIPs are a category of goal-based financial solutions that
combine the safety of insurance protection with wealth creation
opportunities.
The residual portion of the ULIP is invested in a fund which in turn
invests in stocks or bonds; the value of investments alters with the
performance of the underlying fund opted by you.
Simply put, ULIPs are structured in such that the protection
element and the savings element are distinguishable, and hence
managed according to your specific needs. In this way, the ULIP
plan offers unprecedented flexibility and transparency.

This research will also be helpful for those
who want to invest in some insurance plan
but they don’t know the options available in
insurance plans in the Indian market.
Comparison of various ULIP will be helpful to
the existing investors of ULIP too.
14. 1. The sample size is very less, hence the responses of just 200 respondents
does not imply for the complete population.
2. There was lack of time and resources that prevented from carrying out an
in depth study.
3. The findings of the survey are based on the subjective opinion of the
respondents and there is no way of assessing truth of the statements.
4. There is some respondent’s bias which cannot be removed.
5. Lastly, some amount of error exists in the data filling process because of
the following reasons:
Influence of others.
Misunderstanding of the concept.
Hurried filling of the questionnaire.
