• World Environment Day

established by the UN General Assembly in its resolution (XXVII) of
December 15, 1972 with which he opened the Conference Stockholm,
Sweden, whose central theme was the Environment.
That same day, the UN General Assembly approved the creation of the
United Nations Environment Programmed (UNEP).
