CAD Fine On January 26, 2013

Your computer has been locked! It Claims To unlock your computer and
to avoid other legal consequences, you are obligated to pay a release
fee of 100 CAD Via Ukash or Paysafecard.
The work of your computer has been suspended on the grounds of unauthorized cyberactivity.
Described below are possible violations, you have made:
Article 274 – Copyright
A fine or imprisonment for the term of up to 4 years (The use or sharing of copyrighted files –
movies, software)
Article 183 – Pornography
A fine or imprisonment for the term of up to 2 years (The use or distribution of pornographic
files)
Article 184 – Pornography involving children (Under 18 years)
Imprisonment for the term of up to 15 years (The use or distribution of pornographic files)
Article 104 – Promoting Terrorism
Imprisonment for the term of up to 25 years (You have visited websites of terrorist

Since your PC is unlocked, you will be given seven working days to correct all violations.

I reboot in safe mode and followed the guide here. Then i fixed for it looks like the Police
Cybercrime Investigation Department virus is gone. I let someone use my computer tonight to
surf the web and when I got back I had the lock screen again. So I have to assume he visited an
infected website since no downloads were done. Then i had to fix it again!!! thanks

cannot boot to safe mode because it restarts me right away and ive managed to go to repair

My conputer has just been infected with the police cybercrime virus and I cannot access my
computer.I am completely locked out.I booted up in safe mode and ran malwarebyte … it was
out of date by 78 days. I did not update it because I did not want to connect to the internet.It
found to infections and removed them, but when I restarted my computer, it looked like it
worked for about 2 seconds and then I was locked out again. I’m afraid to do a manual removal

for fear of screwing something up and I don’t have a back up of my computer. Any suggestions?

Nothing works lady and gentlemen, the virus can even bypass the safe mode boot, cd/dvd boot,
disable everything now. Giving up data and re-format the hard drive somebody may suggest?

Everytime I put mycomputer in any variation og safe mode, it just shuts off my computer and
restarts it back in normal boot mode… making it impossible to follow any of these steps.
