Justification of this didactical
unit
This unit has got as deal to introduce to our pupils what the
meaning is for those English words that we are going to use
with them in our P. E. lessons.
In our opinion, this is one of the most important
lessons at the beginning of our bilingual PE classes. It´s a
way for not wasting time in the court trying to explain every
word you tell us or every order that you want to do,
introducing or developing different games or exercises.
However, at the beginning it will be necessary to do a
continue translation of every word. We think after two or also
3 weeks, with 2 seasons per week, our pupils will be able to
recognize a big amount of our words.
Objectives
•To get the basic vocabulary to develop a bilingual P E
lesson.
•To improve the intonation of every word used.
•To be able to reproduce those words among mates and
teachers.
Contents
•Flash card about basic P E vocabulary.
•Different games with this cards.
•Resources from some websites.

Basic Physical Education Vocabulary

  • 2. Justification of this didactical unit This unit has got as deal to introduce to our pupils what the meaning is for those English words that we are going to use with them in our P. E. lessons. In our opinion, this is one of the most important lessons at the beginning of our bilingual PE classes. It´s a way for not wasting time in the court trying to explain every word you tell us or every order that you want to do, introducing or developing different games or exercises. However, at the beginning it will be necessary to do a continue translation of every word. We think after two or also 3 weeks, with 2 seasons per week, our pupils will be able to recognize a big amount of our words. Objectives •To get the basic vocabulary to develop a bilingual P E lesson. •To improve the intonation of every word used. •To be able to reproduce those words among mates and teachers. Contents •Flash card about basic P E vocabulary. •Different games with this cards. •Resources from some websites.
