14. The fourth effect of our rejection of God’s way of life is 4. On our relation with nature. Before the rejection: The Lord God put the man in the Garden of Eden. He put him there to work its ground and to take care of it. After the rejection: The Lord God said, There will be a curse on the ground because of what you did. You will have to work hard and sweat a lot to get food from the ground
