2. The penguins The Emperor penguin is
an endemic species of
the Antarctica.
It eats fish and
crustaceans.
When swimming it
reaches a speed of 144
km/h.
Young chicks are protected
from cold by putting them
on their feet and covering
them with their brood
pouch.

3. It is a marine mammal. The seals
Most of the time is in
the water.
They are not in the
habit of forming big
colonies.
They feed on fish,
crustaceans and often
on penguins.
The thick layer of fat
that they have keep
them warm

4. The elephant seal
The males have a long snout similar to a short horn.
They spend almost all the year round in the sea.
They feed on all kinds of fish and cephalopods.
They can take dips up to 1,6 km in depth.

5. The whales (the killer whales)
They belong to the Delphinidae.
There are several types of killer whales.
It is a super predator that feeds on fish and on marine
mammals.It is very aggressive.
