1. GOING OUT Part one OUTLINE: WHAT: Meeting someone for a date WHERE: Perth Cinema (The Playhouse) WHEN: You are meant to be meeting at 7pm for a film that starts at 7:15. TRAVEL: Bus! WHAT ELSE: Your parents are going out at about the same time, but headed in a different direction so are unable to give you a lift.
3. Getting Ready You need to cover the following: Choosing clothes Doing hair Checking the time Feelings – dread, happy, anxious, nervous REMEMBER: How does the READER KNOW you are what is going on and how you feel?
5. Getting There You need to cover the following: Checking the time for the bus How? – Internet, Bus timetable, How long have you got? Checking the time – Have you still got enough time to catch the bus Feelings – worried about the time EXTRA POINT: Your folks are going out somewhere else as you get ready. Remember to say goodbye to them! ;-)
7. Setting Off You need to cover the following: Are you in good time for the bus? Checking the time – Have you still got enough time to catch the bus Feelings – worried about the time Standing at the bus stop – What is the weather like? Are you warm enough? Are you sweating too much?
10. Disaster With a partner, choose one of the people going on the date who will miss his or her bus. One will make it to the cinema, and be left waiting. THINGS TO KNOW
