OUTDOOR FOUNTAIN FONTEMAGNA CITY RESULTS Plastic bottles represent the 5% of the waste collected Mainly plastic bottles are made of PET During production, 1kg of PET (25 bottles of 1,5 liters) use 2 kg of petrol and 17,5 liters of water, and releases in the atmosphere: - 40 gr. of hydrocarbon - 25 gr. of sulphur oxide - 20 gr. of nitrose oxide - 18 gr. of carbon monoxide - 2,3 kg of carbon dioxide Considering an annual drawing of 300.000 liters from Fontemagna CITY, these are the positive results: 200.000 1,5 l. bottles of PET less produced 60.000 Kg of PET less (30 gr. per bottle) to recycle or dispose
