The ‘Follow Company’ button has been around for a year and a half and tens of millions of professionals now follow over 2 million companies on LinkedIn. While following companies has always helped users access their favorite companies easily, now users will be able to interact with the companies they follow even more.
Now, on LinkedIn, you can like, comment on and share Company Status Updates.

4. What’s new for companies? Companies can share the latest on the company directly to all of their followers on their company page’s “Overview” tab. 7. More information The Overview tab is restricted to showing the most recent 20 posts. This will include status updates, any job opportunity, new hires etc… Once a status update becomes the 21st post, it will be removed from the feed. Presently, there is no ability to go back to old posts or the metrics related to those posts. Company Updates will support URL links that are images/videos. The Administrator will be able to preview the image/video thumbnail and associate a Title and Description to it. Posts can be up to 500 characters (including spaces) and Titles can be up to 250 characters (including spaces). URLs will be automatically shortened with the LinkedIn URL shortener.
