How to Be a Great Manager: 5 Quick Tips!

Climbing the ladder to become a great manager is like assembling a jigsaw brainteaser. During the first
attempt, it takes a while to get everything straight. The second time you are more familiar with the

1. Establish your credibility
“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you
made them feel” ~ Maya Angelou
Ask yourself, do you want your executives to work for you simply because they have to or because they
wish to? Establishing your credibility will help you and your team to execute work efficiently in a much
better work environment. So, devote your time with the team so that they learn from you how to
execute exceptionally new task which they have never done before. They will not only appreciate your
availability but witness your skills, knowledge and expertise. Be their role model and in case of any
difficulties faced by the assignee in carrying out a mission, ensure thatyou help them get out of the

5. Be real with people and lead by example

Besides supervising your core team and managing them, you have to carry out your own work. Make

team know what you did to fix it up.
