Canyon Park
Orange Drive Hostel’s location in the city center of Hollywood means

3. From Orange Drive Hostel to Runyon
Canyon Park
Two blocks away from Hollywood Boulevard and stretching over 130
acres, Runyon Canyon Park is Hollywood’s very own “urban
wilderness.” A variety of walking trails lead to several spectacular
lookout points: the famous Hollywood sign, Sunset Strip, Century
City, and the Chinese Theater are all within view. On a clear day, you
can even see Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean, 12 miles away.
And if you would rather stretch than walk, there are free yoga
classes in the Park’s lower grass area, which have been offered daily
for the past ten years.
4. From Orange Drive Hostel to Runyon
Canyon Park
Though you will not be far from the city, make sure you prepare for
your time in Runyon Canyon Park. Take lots of water, especially
during the summer, and rest in a shady area if you feel dehydrated.
Let the staff of Orange Drive Hostel know if you are going hiking
alone, and when you expect to be back. Finally, make sure to stay on
the trails to avoid damaging the natural surroundings.
