Oracle Corporate Speaker Request
• Take your Oracle Relationship Manager as the first point of
contact for your events
• Corporate speaker request form has to be completely filled
• The speaker request form must be sent to the Oracle Relationship
Manager at least 4 months before the event. Earlier the Better!
• This applies to all user group events for all focus areas: Java,
Database, Apps, Middleware, MySQL, etc.
• We will help you get the right Oracle speaker to deliver the right
content in right way

• Please refer to the latest document with the rules of engagement

• External vendors and sponsors will not be allowed at Oracle

Real World Performance Tour
• This Tour is a concept from the IOUG
• This tour features three Oracle rock stars who will share their different perspectives on
performance engineering. Through discussion, debate and demos, they’ll show you how to
master performance engineering topics.

• Dates and total# attendees: 778 attendees
– 18 February: OBUG (Breda, The Netherlands) - 210 attendees
– 19 February: DOAG (Munich, Germany) - 110 attendees
– 21 February: BGOUG (Sofia, Bulgaria) - 180 attendees
– 26 March: UKOUG (London, UK) - 78 attendees
– 28 March: LVOUG (Riga, Latvia) - 200 attendees
• In total 13 user groups in EMEA were involved to support this tour
These 5 user groups collaborated with groups in
neighboring countries, that makes the total of 13
user groups covering, somehow each corner of
Europe.

• Event is from 28 September to 2 October
– For the first time, Oracle User Group Leader Summit will be hosted
before Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne, SFO from 25 September to
26 September
• Call for Papers for both Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne are
now closed
• Sunday Users Forum will take place Sunday September 28th
in Moscone West and South
• The user group pavilion will be in Moscone South Lobby
