Procter & Gamble sticks by forecasts; profit meets expectations
Procter & Gamble Co (PG.N) is chugging along with its turnaround,
posting a quarterly profit that met Wall Street's expectations and holding
to its annual forecasts as the world's largest household products maker
gets a lift from cost cuts and a lower tax rate.
Govt directs Adani Port to restore creeks in Mundra
The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) has directed Adani Port
and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) to restore all the creeks and
reclaimed land in the North Port area of the Mundra block, Kutch within
six months.
DHL introduces unique carbon reporting feature
From October 1 onward, customers are able to see the carbon footprint of
their shipments within DHL’s web based services ‘DHLi Public Tracking’
and ‘Active Tracing’
Gujarat’s share in exports to over one-third of the country by the end of this decade.
Gujarat’s share in country’s exports could well mount to over one-third
level by the end of this decade. This is the major statement coming out
from “Export Competitiveness of Gujarat : Vision 2020” – a report which

GM case: Centre to set up special probe teams
The Centre will ask Gujarat and Maharashtra to set up multi-disciplinary
special investigation teams to probe violation of testing norms in India by
General Motors for its Tavera model vehicles.
